Gal's Maple cake
Gal Eisenkot Z'L
Gal was born and raised in Herzliya.
In his youth he trained with a triathlon team and devoted his free time to training.
He enlisted to the navy but decided on a different path, and moved to Maglan.
When he was released from the army, he decided he wanted to study medicine and started studying for the psychometric exam.
He worked two jobs- one was training students for matriculation in mathematics and the other was at a store called Ski Pass where he fell in love with snowboarding and started surfing as a hobby.
He began to travel the world, and really enjoyed going to Valorness and snowboarding.
In the summer he flew to the Philippines for a month and spent his time surfing.
After three psychometric tests where he wasn’t able to reach his goel, he decided to study bioinformatics at Tel Aviv University.
Gal really liked this specific cake and I mostly made it for the triathlon group's social gatherings

Ingredients
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup maple syrup
140 grams flour
10 grams baking powder
1/2 cup maple syrup to drizzle on top
Instructions
Preheat oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
Mix all the wet ingredients together, add in the dry ingredients and mix well.
Pour into a greased medium size pan, and bake for 40 mins.
Once baked, drizzle the maple syrup on top of the cake.
